Climate [scam] envoys need funds - Fiji Times Online

ORGANISERS of a global climate change arts exhibition are in need of funds to send 10 secondary school students to a world climate change conference.

Canada-based non-government organisation 'Many Strong Voices' art director and curator Christine Germano said they had given out some proposals for funding but are still awaiting confirmation.

"I am hoping to take two students from Fiji, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Samoa and Marshall Islands," Ms Germano said.

She said it was expensive to fly 10 youths to Durban in South Africa for the COP17 Climate Conference but they had sent out proposals to potential sponsors.
