THE Deputy Premier, Andrew Stoner, has been accused of hypocrisy by the opposition after it was revealed he rushed to take advantage of higher tariffs offered by the former government's solar bonus scheme, a program repeatedly attacked by the Coalition.

Mr Stoner was absent from the Parliament for a period on October 27, the same time he finalised the purchase of solar panels for his house and only hours before the Labor government slashed the feed-in tariffs on the scheme from 60¢ to 20¢.
