[Neal Lesmeister] The climate crisis has become the defining measure differentiating the GOP and progressives. The conservatives love to subsidize oil and ethanol. They help them by trying to shut down the Clean Air Act and EPA which could curtail their long profitable run. They also love to misinform people with the hoax of oil-sponsored junk science that denies man caused climate change. Any American worth his salt can see the endless coal trains, gas stations, cities full of smog, kids with asthma, glaciers melting, sea level rising, and weather as wild as a rodeo on cocaine and make the connection.
