"In nearly every news report", warmist Terry Miller sees evidence that Co2 is dangerous

Among the songs the acts will perform are Bob Dylan’s “Blowin’ in the Wind,” Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Who’ll Stop the Rain” and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s “Teach Your Children.”

Playing music of that turbulent era at a concert intended to raise awareness of global climate change is no coincidence.

“If you consider the birth of rock ‘n’ roll to be about 1954, the amount of carbon dioxide in the air was about 312 parts per million — today it is a 391 and going up 2 parts per million a year — that is a recipe for disaster and we are seeing it with nearly every news report,” Miller said.

Scientific evidence indicates Earth can handle 350 parts per million carbon dioxide and the U.S. is doing little to address the primary cause of threat — the burning of fossil fuels, particularly coal, Miller said. As was the case in the ‘60s, local action is needed, Miller added.

“As musicians, as citizens, I feel we have to do something to address what might be the issue of our generation,” added Pat Trahan of The Reivers.

“It is crazy to think that some people believe global warming is a hoax,” said John Studniarz, of Born. “We are pleased to be able to perform for groups ... trying to address this issue.”

Bundled up against the cold, a sparse group of hippies poses in front of their fossil-fueled vehicles to profess their fear of trace amounts of invisible, harmless natural atmospheric gas.

And I think it should be announced from the stage that those in attendance who believe in the 350 commitment must put their cellphones and iPads in a cardboard box being passed around, to be destroyed, as well as the make, model, and tag number of their vehicle so it can be towed to a facility and destroyed. "Thank you for your support and proactive participation in your own ideology, people."

It should also be publicized by the media that only those people who arrive at the event by walking or bicycle will be admitted. In addition, it should be mandatory that the musicians performing and preaching must have walked/bicycled to the event and carried their gear in backpacks or small trailers behind human-powered vehicles only.
