Romanian carbon [dioxide hoax] trade on hold after UN ban
The UN's Kyoto Protocol enforcement branch has suspended Romania from international carbon trading, it said late on Friday. The decision follows a freeze on Ukrainian carbon transfers announced earlier at the same meeting (see EDCM 26 August 2011).
...
Carbon investors say this will disrupt the market, undermining confidence and making it unclear whether Romanian sellers will be able to deliver forward contracts, often expiring in December, in time.

The suspension is a blow to the Romanian and Ukrainian governments, which have budgeted for revenues from ERU and AAU sales.

The Romanian government is planning to sell 300m surplus AAUs, according to government figures. According to local media, talks have been ongoing with Japanese corporate buyers since December last year.

When you stop and think about it, it's beyond belief that these people are actually buying, selling, trading AIR.....AIR. Even if you accept the concept, none of this means anything without all countries involved. It's all driven by guilt and greed. It's really difficult for a logical, sane person to wrap their mind around this insanity.
