Top Gear's electric car shows pour petrol over the BBC's standards | George Monbiot | Environment | guardian.co.uk
It's currently being sued by electric car maker Tesla after claiming, among other allegations, that the Roadster's true range is only 55 miles per charge (rather than 211), and that it unexpectedly ran out of charge. The Blind Conscience
The Climate Reality Project, founded by Al Gore, speaker at the Discovery Invest Leadership Summit 2011 will host the 17th Conference of Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), in Durban, from 28 November – 9 December 2011.

The event is an important stage in ongoing climate negotiations. In celebration of this initiative, a t-shirt called The Blind Conscience was specially designed.

The artwork on the t-shirt consists of a naive, child-like head that has been blindfolded from reality. This mind glosses over the issue of climate change by using sugary, innocent imagery. When looking closely enough, the truth cannot be denied.
