Zambia - Making the environment a campaign issue

ONE wonders when environmental matters will become a serious campaign issue in this country.

Political leaders have been talking about fighting corruption, distributing resources equally among other issues, in their campaign messages, but none of them has ever talked about protecting the environment from abuse.
