10 NY Occupy Protesters treated for hypothermia during snow storm and dozens arrested in Denver

As an early snow storm unexpectedly descended on the Northeast, 10 protesters in New York had to be treated for hypothermia. This on top of a doctor disclosing last week that many protesters were getting sick from camping out this long in NYC's Zuccotti park and the stress of it all.

INTERVIEW-Australia CO2 scheme must be scrapped, opposition says | Agricultural Commodities | Reuters

Hunt said the opposition would fight on with their own scheme, despite failing to scuttle the government's programme.

"I deal with Australian business each day and there is a huge body of deep profound concern about the impact of the tax, particularly since it is an electricity tax," Hunt said in a telephone interview from Canberra.

"It's not difficult to repeal. All that happens is that people stop paying the tax."
