A great example of the global warming advocates using warped science to espouse their theory showed up in my local newspaper recently as an editorial. The editorial was in response to a declining moose population in northern Minnesota and one of the statements in the endorsement of global warming was, "Why isn't the Department of Natural Resources just stating the obvious? Moose can't tolerate the warmer temperatures we now have." Just look at the population of moose in North Dakota that use the open prairie. These moose cavort with farmers in combines, pickup trucks surveying wheat fields, blistering hot temperatures in the summer months and these animals are doing just fine.
