College to host climate change video conference
It’s rare to find a scientist who doesn’t understand the significant impact climate change has on our environment, reports Lea Hix, chair of general studies and allied health at Pamlico Community College.
Word Of The Day: ‘Warmist’ | Talking Points Memo
[Morano’s] the first person to expose me to the use of the word “warmist” to describe those who accept the scientific consensus that manmade CO2 emissions are having profound environmental effects. (I guess that makes Morano a “coldist”?)
...Muller’s findings have disqualified him as a fellow traveler and have catapulted climate change deniers even deeper into flat earth territory.
William M. Briggs, Statistician » D.J. Keenan’s And My BEST Methodology Reviews
“Say, Briggs. You’re always negative. If you’re so smart, why don’t you do your own analysis and reveal it?” Good question. Unlike the BEST folks, and others like my pal Gav, I don’t have contacts with Big Green, nor do I have a secretary, junior colleagues, graduate students, IT people, fancy computer resources, printer, copier, office supplies, access to a library, funds for conference travel, money for page charges, multi-million dollar grants, multi-thousand dollar grants, nor even multi-dollar grants. All the work I’ve ever done in climatology has been pro bono. I just don’t have the time or resources to recreate months worth of effort.
