Commonwealth leaders warned about climate refugees as sea levels rise | Herald Sun
Caribbean diplomat Sir Ronald Sanders, a member of the Eminent Persons Group, said he was upset leaders were not urgently working on a plan for the "very serious and grave issue" of climate change, which threatened the existence of small countries in the Pacific and the Caribbean.

"Not only will some of them physically disappear, but in others there will be such severe dislocation of populations that will have to be shifted and shifted to God knows where because nobody has made any plans about what to do if such a tragedy occurs," he said.
