Longmont weather: Record low of 3 degrees - Colorado

Data collected at Longmont's airport shortly after 6 a.m. revealed that today's low temperature was 3 degrees, a record for the date. Earlier reports had noted that the temperature had dropped to 7 degrees around 3 a.m., according to Times-Call weather consultant Dave Larison, but 3 degrees will go in the record books. The previous record was 9 above zero set in 1997.
