Six reasons why you should scoff at Coca-Cola's cynical attempts to convince us that they'll save us from "dangerous" carbon dioxide

Coke goes white to protect polar bears
Cans of Coca-Cola are going from red to white as part of a new multimillion-dollar project promoting awareness about climate change.

The new design is part of the soft-drink maker's new partnership with WWF, the environmental group formerly known as the World Wildlife Fund, to protect polar bear habitat in Canada and other Arctic nations.
Coke cans in Canada and the United States will change starting Nov. 1 until Jan. 15 from the well-known red to white.

1. Coca Cola sponsors CO2-spewing NASCAR races.

2. Coca Cola sells allegedly planet-killing bottled water.

3. Coca Cola is said to own the second-largest CO2-spewing truck fleet in the world.

4. Coca Cola requires their CEO to use a CO2-spewing private plane for all business and personal travel.

5. Coke uses 300,000 tons of aluminium for its cans every year just for its US operations. That's equal to 17.4% of what the entire US aluminum industry produces. Aluminum smelting has been targeted by climate change protestors as an extremely energy intensive, CO2-spewing industry.

6. Coca Cola deliberately injects "global warming pollution" into your soda. It's said that if you could get ALL of the CO2 out of the cola it would fill a volume about four times the volume of the cola itself.
