CHRIS UHLMANN:

Will there ever be an economy-wide carbon price or carbon tax in Canada?

JOHN BAIRD:

No…

CHRIS UHLMANN:

We are repeatedly told that carbon markets are expanding around the world. Is that your view of it?

JOHN BAIRD:

Certainly not in Canada or the United States.
Do Polar Bears Need Coca Cola To Survive? | Real Science
Coca Cola is producing billions of white cans full of CO2, sugar, acid, and other toxic substances in order to save the Polar Bears from CO2 and ocean acidification. According to Coca Cola UK, each can has a carbon footprint of 170 grams of CO2. They sell about 1.6 billion servings a day, which works out to 99,280,000,000,000 grams of CO2 being generated by Coca Cola every year.
Do Polar Bears Need Summer Ice To Survive? | Real Science
Every schoolchild in the world has been taught that Polar Bears need ice all year round to survive. This isn’t true, but the scientific community seems perfectly happy to allow this misinformation to continue to propagate.

According to Walt Meier at NSIDC, the image below shows how much summer ice there was in the Arctic sometime 5,000-10,000 years ago. My understanding is that Polar Bears did not go extinct during that time, because if they did, scientists would not be able to lie about seeing dead ones now.
Thank God! BEST project rescues us from thousands of lying global thermometers « JoNova: Science, carbon, climate and tax
Lucky the BEST project is here to save us from the lying thermometers of the past. Apparently people in the 1960′s and 1970′s were clever enough to get man on the moon, but too stupid to measure the temperature. Millions of people were fooled into thinking the world was cooling for three decades by erroneous thermometer readings. Who would have guessed?
