BEST Data “Quality” « Climate Audit

In a surprising number of records, the “seasonally adjusted” station data in the Berekely archive contains wildly incorrect data.

The current outrage of which Jackson is only the most recent purveyor is directed at just one in a long, un-protested series of similar FOI requests. On its face, this appears to be an effort to protect select individuals, a select cause and a nearly unprecedented revenue stream. 

That is not legitimate grounds for policymaking. To bow to that is the abuse of the FOIA.

You may be annoyed, or worse, at the video, but don’t be. If warmists were winning hearts and minds, they wouldn’t be churning out murderous videos on the Internet. It’s unpleasant to look at, but it’s a sign of warmist impotence in the face of reality, and it’s what winning looks like.

This is about what it adds up too: If the carbon tax costs us, say, $10 billion a year (anyone have a better number?) we not only have to pay that, but we might lose another $20 billion a year as well.
