The Climate World Began In 1979 | Real Science

No wonder so many climate scientists are hopelessly confused. They happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and they like to draw straight lines through sinuous phenomena.

GREENIE WATCH--Daily weather growing more extreme?

The first thing to note here is that we are NOT dealing with a global phenomenon. Changes in cloud cover were observed for only one third of the globe. We are looking at local effects. And what did changes in cloud cover affect? Hold on to your hat for the amazing news: RAIN!

No mention of clouds affecting temperature. And that is the dog that did not bark. Cloud changes SHOULD have affected temperature. Why is the effect not reported? That the effect was COOLING, not the warming assumed by Warmists is the obvious conjecture. What a crock!

New Information on the Penn State Inquiry Committee « Climate Audit

My interpretation of this oracle is that, despite a conflict that obliged Easterling to declare that he had “recused” himself, Easterling, in fact, continue to influence the proceedings and was responsible, directly or indirectly, for the Inquiry Committee’s decision not to contact critics, including, most obviously, me. Instead, they used Gerry North and Donald Kennedy as experts on the emails, even though North admitted that he had not read the emails out of “professional courtesy”.

That the Penn State Inquiry Committee had not done its prescribed job was evident to me as soon as I read the report – for the reasons that I reported at the time. However, PS pointed to a reason that I had not contemplated: that despite his supposed “recusal”, Easterling continued to exert influence on the Inquiry Committee, including its decision not to contact critics.

John O'Sullivan: Uncanny Parallels Connect the Jerry Sandusky & Michael Mann Cover Ups | Climate Realists

In effect all’s well as long as the money keeps comes in. We saw the same moral disease infect the thinking of bankers and that lead to the collapse of Wall Street for which the whole of America is now paying a hefty price.

Of itself, none of this represents evidence against Mann per se, but it does present an excellent argument that the Mann inquiry needs to be revisited. A Big Government institution has been caught out running roughshod over the rights of the public for their own profit and glory.
