Congress Skips Durban Climate Talks: Is That a Good Thing? | ThinkProgress
Greenwire reports today that only one Congressional staffer and zero members — yes zero — have plans to attend the COP 17 climate conference in South Africa next week. With the press prematurely declaring the talks all but dead, members of Congress seem to have latched onto that storyline
Al Fin: Don't Get Mad -- Get Even: ClimateGate, Round 2
Here at Al Fin, our viewpoint is that anyone with an IQ over 70 will have known that the IPCC and the climate hysteria orthodoxy were scams for several years now. But the world is populated by morons and idiots who still take the IPCC and the faux consensus seriously. For them, a ClimateGate 3, 4, 5, and 6 may be necessary before they began to understand how badly they have been fooled. Suckers.
As for the perpetrators themselves -- the Phil Jones', the Michael Manns, the Keith Briffas, the Kevin Trenberths, the Gavin Schmitz', and the rest of the dirty greedy grubby little boys -- look over your shoulders. Because hell is coming for breakfast. Heh.
Phil Stumped at Calculating A Trend « Climate Audit
Phil Jones spends much of his time looking down his nose at the heathen, but then confesses to Bob Ward that he is unable to calculate a trend on his own, as in this hilarious exchange at Bishop Hill:
I’m not adept enough (totally inept) with excel to do this now as no-one who knows how to is here.
Nor it seems in Matlab, R, ODL, Fortran or any other language. No wonder that he regarded someone who could calculate principal components (like Mann) as a sort of computational prodigy.
Climategate 2.0 – Another Nail in Kyoto’s Coffin
I would put it this way. There are risks of climate policy as well as of climate change, and the former may far outweigh the latter. More than one billion people on planet Earth live in energy squalor and struggle to survive without electricity, motor vehicles, and mechanized agriculture. Putting an energy-starved world on an energy diet is neither humane nor enlightened.
