What a shame that the easily dislikeable Chris Huhne is our Energy and Climate Change Minister.
Britain has no viable/affordable energy policy. Mr Huhne promises to create the worlds largest offshore wind market in Britain - which is political speak for a massive debt to commercial interests abroad for decades ahead, with no gain for our children and no relaible energy supply..
As the Duke of Edinburgh recently said, wind is totally useless.
We massively subsidise wind and solar, These can never be more than marginal sources of power - no hopers.
We need a Minister for Energy and another separate minister for Climate Change (if we must). The conflicts of the current office are not compatible.
Of course the climate changes, it always has and always will. Mans 3% contribution to natures 97% contribution to the trace atmospheric CO2 gas (the 'green gas' - bringer of life) is too small a part of too smaller part of greenhose gases to make any measurable difference.
For anyone prepared to see, AGW is a confidence trick which most people, excepting ministers and the media have twigged.
Let us stop this now, before we bankrupt the Country.
Let us reject the green marxist agenda.
