Panel: More Extreme Weather in Forecast | citydesk

Previous reports on global warming have been cautionary but a new report from the Nobel Prize-winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change warns of an earth ravaged by dangerous and "unprecedented extreme weather." The study was the first time that the organization focused on warnings on heat waves, floods and massive storms.

...The 29-page summary of the report indicated that weather extremes could get so bad "at some point some regions may need to be abandoned."
