Lucknow, Dec 27 : The night temperature in almost all divisions of Uttar Pradesh plummeted further intensifying the cold weather conditions in the state.
Ten more deaths due to cold reported during the past 24 hours taking the number to 180.
Last year nearly 22,000 people aged over 65 in England and Wales died unnecessarily during the cold weather and 3,300 of them came from the West Midlands.
