As the United Nations climate change conference continues in Durban, South Africa, Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, held a press conference to discuss climate change and the need for international cooperation. She also addressed claims made by climate change deniers (Dec. 7, 2011).

In response to Borah’s address, Schumann Distinguished Scholar Bill McKibben said, “It’s awfully good to see Middlebury students continuing to play such a big role in international events. I’m pretty sure that if you took a poll at Durban you’d find more Middlebury graduates per capita than any other school. They’re all doing their best to overcome the power of the fossil fuel industry, which is still blocking change.”

How do brainwashed college students qualify as official representatives of international youth? At Durban, how many official representatives were there for all of the world's people who scoff at the global warming hoax?
