Shock: Washington Post prints a story about something going wrong outdoors, but forgets to blame carbon dioxide

Scientists are trying to find the cause of colony collapse disorder, the five-year-old phenomenon of worker bees suddenly disappearing. Other maladies abound and may be a factor in the disorder: new pests and diseases, the effects of pesticides and the strain of industrial-scale pollination.  [Via Chris Horner]

Katharine Hayhoe, Associate Professor of  Atmospheric Sciences at Texas Tech University, claims that in the last 5 years in Lubbock there have been “Two 100 year rain events”. Unsurprisingly, this claim is not supported by the facts.
