A boat and net storage building at the old Alaska Packers cannery site had gone down. Out at the historic Orca Cannery, a partial collapse of a mostly empty warehouse had occurred and workers were shoveling, shoring and heating other buildings to relieve weight of roof snow, calling for more help. In town, fire hydrant spring flags were bent and hidden by snow. The back half of the Coho Café collapsed and the Co-Ho historical building, Bar and Hotel were evacuated. Hazards were everywhere.
