Florida:  Farmers livelihood at stake as they watch temperatures drop below freezing

Around mid-morning, Connor's crew prepared an emergency order for a tropical fish distributor in California. It could very well be the last quick order he can turn around for months.

"If it gets as cold as what they're predicting tonight, we're going to have at least a 35, 40 or 50 percent loss," he said. "We don't know yet."

This hard freeze comes just as he thought he may have dodged a bullet this year. In the last three years, freezing temperatures caused millions of dollars in lost revenue.
