- Bishop Hill blog - More Fakegate bits and pieces
Mark Fischetti, writing at Scientific American, interviews Gavin Schmidt, "a climate scientist who has been a consistently moderate voice at the center of the climate and ethics debate" about Gleick's activities. Fischetti seems to think that "Deniers are well funded and politically motivated." I guess he didn't actually read the Heartland documents then.
The Blackboard » Gleick Fakegate Emails Posted.

Mr. Worthing: The Gleick E-mails
Heartland Institute have released details of the e-mails sent by Peter Gleick.

At first Gleick claimed he obtained the fake memo along with other documents from The Heartland Institute. Now he claims it came from an anonymous source before he stole the documents. Heartland has consistently and unambiguously said the memo is a forgery and was not produced by anyone associated with The Heartland Institute.
