Mann: Business as usual could result "in a sea level rise as much as six feet by the end of this century"

Amazon Kindle: A Highlight and Note by Tom Nelson from The Hockey Stick and the Climate Wars: Dispatches from the Front Lines

Suppose we were instead to continue with business as usual, shunning efforts to curtail carbon emissions. The impacts on our civilization and environment could be profound. By doing so, we might well be committing ourselves to the melting of the major ice sheets, resulting in a sea level rise as much as six feet by the end of this century and, eventually, twenty feet or more

Wow, six feet! That's almost two metres in real measurement. What about 3 metres? How about 5 or 6? What a crock. A metoer might fsll from the sky. What about global cooling of the 1980's? It's Henny Penny rubbish using scales on graphs to exaggerate what may or may not be happening naturally. DO we deny the Ice Ages?

Headline you will never see:

"Michael Mann vows never to fly again."

Is his book available on "Pirate bay" yet?
