The Reference Frame: Clouds falling by 44 ± 22 meters per decade
At any rate, the cloud height is yet another wild card that may (and probably is actually enough to) substantially invalidate almost all the predictions by the available climate models: all of them are pretty much totally ignorant about the right behavior of quantities such as the cloud height and about the impact of these quantities on others.
‘Most Dangerous Man’ reveals ‘Greatest Hoax’
Now the Oklahoma Republican, in his new book, “The Greatest Hoax: How the Global Warming Conspiracy Threatens Your Future,” reveals the ever-shifting rationalizations, fabricated evidence and corrupt profiteering of so-called climate change activists.
I wish there was a Kindle version.
Hamilton is above the rules he sets for warmists | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog
Warmist Clive Hamilton smears sceptic Bob Carter over a piffling bit of alleged funding and screams for an audit of the IPA’s list of donors, too.
Trouble is, others remember how he was very shy about revealing his own list of donors. Only sceptics’ funding stinks, you see.
Gleick on camera before he exploded his world | Watts Up With That?
Steve Goddard on his blog points out that Gleick says “People have a fundamental trust of scientists”. That was then.
- Bishop Hill blog - Show us yer code
John Graham Cumming, Les Hatton and Darrell Ince are all well known around these here parts. John Graham Cumming was quite prominent after Climategate for his critiques of the standard of CRU's computer code. Darrell Ince wrote an article making similar criticisms. Les Hatton was mentioned as the author of an article criticising the IPCC's handling of hurricane data.
The three of them have just published a new paper in Nature, looking at the issue of code availability and trying to address the question of how we can move to a world in which academic computer code is routinely made available.
Is the Earth cooling itself? Cloud level has fallen by 1% a year over last decade
Amusing that Warmists say it might be a feedback that reduces a warming effect. They are postulating a lot of such feedbacks now that all their prophecies of warming have failed. Their whole theory, however, relies on feedbacks that INCREASE global warming. How odd that all the feedbacks seem to be going the other way!
