What we’re finding as this argument goes forward is that Patrick Michaels was right – “AGW theory functions best in a data free environment”.
Singer said the warming from 1910 to 1940 is real, but that the warming from the late 1970s to the present day “is fake.” He’s not asserting the data is fiddled with, he said, but he doesn’t believe the warming trend is real. “The whole conclusions of the IPCC is based upon this reported warming,” he said.

This warmista is showing all the signs of denial. He pretends openess, but dismisses the arguments that oppose his view. He is fighting a rear-guard action, and he knows it.
He is slowly moving from warmist, to open-to-debate, to considering-other-opinions. Eventually, he will leave the warmist religion and justify himself by his track record of being open and reasonable and listening to the facts.
Of course, reality is that he denied and denied and denied until it was obvious, even to a five year old, that he was wrong.
