Greens and their crazy cronies are holding a gun to our head | thetelegraph.com.au

Much of the world has now woken up to the reality that the UN's global warming bogeyman was created by members of environmental activist groups working within the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The US, Russia, China, India and Japan and other important economic powers have walked away from the IPCC. International activists feel they can tell our sovereign, democratic nation what to do about immigration, the environment, the law, education and agriculture and know they will find a welcoming ear in Canberra.

On this issue, Treasurer Wayne Swan has found some courage and declared the anti-development campaign "reprehensible" and "puerile". But to show that he means what he says, he, or preferably Gillard, should call Brown in and tell the Greens that their extremist supporters will no longer enjoy a tax-exempt status.

Unfortunately, Swan and Gillard will not do that because they are dependent on the Greens and have shown they are prepared to sacrifice the economy to ideological fanaticism.
