Recently, I reviewed a paper which had the following quote

“A global climate model that does not simulate current climate accurately does not necessarily imply that it cannot produce accurate projections”

The post would be short: a wrong theory can predict the right results. All prospectors know that you don't have to have a clue about what you are looking for, as long as you look in the right place.

As a scientific principle, however, it is rubbish: it fails two of the three elements of truth even by Pragmatism (agreement with present truths and leading to further truths). Its only virtue is that of "cash value", i.e. it is useful. Unfortunately, it is useful ONLY if you apply the Uncertainty Principle.

But that is what the warmist, CAGW urgency is based on, is it not? Not threat, but the threat of a threat?
