Ocean acidification rate may be unprecedented, study says

It isn't warming! Quick! Roll the alternate scare!

Of course it's unprecedented! It's either "worse than previously thought" or "far worse than previously thought" - I'm not sure which.

In a couple of years the pH of the ocean will be about the same as the pH of the inside of a dead car battery, and we'll all be eating slime that grows on bathtubs because there will be nothing else left to eat.

The good news is, we won't have to suffer the indignity of fueling our cars with algae oil because there won't be any algae any more. Not in the ocean, anyway.

Maybe that's bad news. I don't know what's good any more, global warming has me disoriented
