Bummer: Temperatures 7 degrees below normal in the "poster state for global warming"

C3: March 2012: Alaska Is Coldest Spot In World With Temperatures 7 Degrees Below Normal
Global warming over last 10 years, as measured by satellites, has been non-existent - IPCC's CO2 climate models predicted at least a .2 degree increase every 10 years
2006:  Alaska the 'poster state' for climate concerns - USATODAY.com
Alaska has emerged as the poster state for global warming, the climate effect attributed to higher concentrations of "greenhouse" gases — mostly carbon dioxide created by burning fossil fuels — that capture the sun's heat in the atmosphere...Alaska is important in measuring the effect of global warming on the USA because what happens here soon will be felt in the Lower 48 states, say experts such as Robert Corell, a senior fellow at the American Meteorological Society.
...This great northern forest may end up a grassland. "Soon, people will be coming to the great plains of Alaska," Juday says.
Alaska is ahead of the climate-change curve because polar regions warm the fastest.
