Japan Greenhouse Gas Emissions Rose 4.2% on Recovering Economy - Bloomberg

Japan committed to reduce production of gases blamed for global warming by 6 percent from 2008 through 2012 from 1990
levels under the Kyoto Protocol which limits releases by industrial nations. The country cut emissions by an average 11
percent annually under the first three years of the treaty, according to the ministry. Those figures include credits Japan
earned for emission offsets outside the country.

We often suggest that people who are in denial join a support group, if necessary and appropriate, to help them overcome their unhealthy denial. When it comes to climate change deniers, however, they already have a huge support group. Unfortunately, their "support group" consists of the Church of Scientific Distortion and Denial and its outlets include Fox News, conservative talk radio, and the Tea Party. If you are an alcoholic, you can avoid bars and go to AA meetings but it is difficult to quit denying the climate is changing if the media you consume and the people you interact with confirm your false beliefs.
