Limbaugh on warmist Kari Norgaard

Environmentalist Wacko: Climate Change Skeptics are Sick - The Rush Limbaugh Show

So if you doubt manmade global warming you are sick and the equivalent of a slave owner.  Now, before you start laughing at this, understand that this woman is teaching impressionable young skulls full of mush this stuff, and they're coming out of Oregon University believing this.  And if they're not challenged anywhere the rest of their life they're going to believe this everywhere they go, and some of these students end up at the Environmental Protection Agency or end up in a Democrat administration either at the statehouse level or at the presidential level, this is the kind of person that Obama would hire.  This the kind of person Obama has hired.  This is the kind of thinking that Obama believes and sponsors.  It's what he believes.  It's what he was taught.

This is what has passed for science education for over ten years now, and it is not science.  It's pure politics.  It's pure politics disguised as science.

Tom, That last line "This is politics posing as science." Is this something you agree with? I am wondering...how does Limbaugh come to that conclusion? Obviously, he is POLITICAL and not a scientist at all. So, surely, that fact alone should make us say...hmmmm...who is being political? The pundit or the scientist? IF we do think it is the scientist...how do we make that determination? Do we have the science background to analyze the peer reviewed studies? Or are we relying on our own scientists? How do we decide which scientists to follow? Aren't our decisions based on our pre-determined political views? So which position is based on politics and which is not?

Tom, I'm going to go a little further with this analysis of Limbaugh's post. Notice the first line is a quatation, but Limbaugh doesn't say who he is quoting. He implies, though, that he is quoting the professor from Oregon. But he isn't. He is quoting the Daily Mail. The professor never said that people who didn't believe the data on global climate change were sick. Neither Limbaugh nor anyone else could ever demonstrate that she did in fact say those words. Yet here it is in quotes implying she did. Don't you find that dishonest? If the liberal media did something like that, you'd have no problem calling it like it is. I'd love to discuss this with you.
