Environmental Finance | News | Court sides with insurance industry in global warming lawsuit
The Virginia Supreme Court has reaffirmed that an insurer does not have to defend its energy client against a global warming emissions case, in a decision favourable to the insurance industry, but baffling to some legal experts.
BBC Props Up The “Orrible Drought” Fantasy « Black's Whitewash
Now that data only goes up to 2010, but look at the pink trend line. Level. Flat. Look carefully at the graph. Then ask yourself, if this is such a mega-bad drought, how on earth did we survive between 1955 and 1995 when it was consistently lower than it has been since 1995. In fact, look at the rainfall from 1995 – 2010. We have had a LOT of rainfall.

Jennifer Marohasy » Unable and Unwilling to Consider the Evidence: Our ABC
many people appear to have a problem with understanding theory and considering it in the context of reality. Consider Anna Rose and her performance on the documentary ‘I Can Change Your Mind About Climate Change’ featured on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) this evening. Ms Rose was flown across Australia and around the world to talk with climate change sceptics but refused to engage constructively on issues of scientific evidence. Yet evidence is central to science and in particular determining whether theory and reality match.

Hi Tom,
haven't seen anything from Steven Goddard's lately on your blog.
You know his other Blog:
stevengoddard.wordpress.com?
Tom posts lots of Goddard's blog topics all the time. Notice that the name of Goddard's blog you linked is "Real Science," so anytime you see "Real Science" in the title on Tom's blog, that's from Goddard. Just today, he posted a link to an article from Goddard entitled "Dyslexic Scientists At The South Pole."
Because of some hacker issues I'm told, Real Science was moved back to its original domain: stevengoddard.wordpress.com, for at least the time being. A most valuable partner for the blog is Tom Nelson, but now the blog is no longer at Real-Science.com, so that complicates the partnership links. I'd hope that once it's resolved where Real Science is going to be on a "permanent" basis, the Tom Nelson links will be restored. It's a bit fuzzy and unclear what's going on with that blog, though.
