Warmer than today for most of the last 10,000 years
GISP Greenland Ice Core Data shows that it has been warmer than today for almost all of the past 10,000 years.
Not only warmer, that temperatures have been declining – in a zig-zag fashion – for several thousand years.

Joe Romm would say that January 1880 was a supercharged global warming month on steroids. According to HadCRUT, it was the most anomalously warm month on record in Chicago, at +15F. Clearly this global warming must have been caused by the very low amount of CO2 in the atmosphere.

In recent months, major coalitions of big business/big labor/green lobbyists, formed to combat climate change, have begun unravel. What this portends for the future of the climate controversy is anyone’s guess, but one point is clear: The waning support for these groups is good news for jobs and sound policy.
Rasmussen Poll: 44% Think EPA Actions Hurt The Economy | Climate Realists
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 44% of Likely U.S. Voters believe, generally speaking, that the EPA’s regulations and actions hurt the economy. Just 17% disagree and think those policies help the economy. Twenty-one percent (21%) say they have no economic impact, but another 17% are not sure.
