Warmist Steve Zwick in Forbes: "We know who the active denialists are – not the people who buy the lies, mind you, but the people who create the lies. Let’s start keeping track of them now, and when the famines come, let’s make them pay. Let’s let their houses burn"

A Tennessee Fireman's Solution to Climate Change - Forbes

the denial machine is ratcheting up its disinformation campaign, and therein lies the problem. Every time someone validates or fine-tunes the science, ten or twelve well-funded and active propagandists pop up to distorting it – usually by twisting the attempts at fine-tuning into “proof” that the models are fundamentally useless, and then launching childish attacks on the scientists themselves.

This propaganda has already set us back two decades, during which the costs of dealing with climate change have risen and our chances of curtailing it have diminished...Let’s take a page from those Tennessee firemen we heard about a few times last year – the ones who stood idly by as houses burned to the ground because their owners had refused to pay a measly $75 fee.

We can apply this same logic to climate change.

We know who the active denialists are – not the people who buy the lies, mind you, but the people who create the lies.  Let’s start keeping track of them now, and when the famines come, let’s make them pay.  Let’s let their houses burn.  Let’s swap their safe land for submerged islands.  Let’s force them to bear the cost of rising food prices.

They broke the climate.  Why should the rest of us have to pay for it?

...The models have proven incredibly accurate when it comes to projecting the overall rise in extreme events, they still can’t tell you exactly which specific storms arose from climate change and which would have happened anyway – and they probably never will. They also can’t tell us which company’s emissions caused which change in temperature – and that’s something they’ll never be able to do, because CO2 emissions all get mixed up in the air.

But they can tell us how many extreme events would happen each year on average without manmade greenhouse gasses, so we can see what percentage of the damage is caused by man and what percentage is caused by nature. This gives us a global amount of damage that can be attributed to man.

Suppose the same DOJ agents who questioned Ted Nugent will pay Zwick a visit? Me neither.

Anything is possible said...

Steve Zwick has got past stage 1, and moved on to stage 2. Progress of sorts, I guess

"Let's let their houses burn."

Is Steve Zwick really that out of touch? The Earth Liberation Front [ELF] has been engaged in this activity for decades.
And then there's; "Burn, baby, burn." Where have we heard that before?
I expect better from Forbes...

OK so can anyone calculate how much Zwick owes the deniers for falling global temperatures, failed tornados, the non appearance of hurricanes, the highest level of global sea ice on record (and not because of sea level rise)?

Feed him to the polar bears!

Zwick's article is outrageous and tantamount to incitement to commit arson. After the embarrassment of Climategate, the disgrace of Gleick, calls by pro-CAGW zealots for sceptics to be 'treated' by the state for holding a dissenting opinion, is this just how low the pro-warmist brigade have now sunk..? Orwell must be turning in his grave...

The Maldives are sure worried about an oceanic uprising - they are building new airports to welcome all the tourists. And Vanuatu is building resorts for their visitors. But they will accept with gratitude all money from guilty industrialized nations to compensate them for causing global warming. What a scam. How does that heat trapping gas CO2 manage to cause severe winter in one part of the N. Hemisphere and a warm winter in the other. How does that work? Magic. Doomsayers haven't got one right yet.

"well-funded and active propagandists"

Gee, I sure wish I could get my hands on some of that well-funded stuff. I don't work in well-funded academia or well-funded bureaucracy, so can't get on the CAGW gravy train that way.

In fact, I'm paying higher prices for petrol and power due to carbon tax, but have not yet figured out to whom I should send my reimbursement claim.

Why don't we give all the warmists "smart electric meters" and we can turn off their power first when the rolling blackouts come after they've shut down all the coal fired power plants.

It's telling that Zwick is comfortable saying in Forbes that those who disagree about CAGW are both well funded and should have their houses burned down. The publishers of Forbes should be shocked, ashamed and horrified. Yet he knew they would not be.

I know wonder about those who smashed all the windows in Germany so long ago: I think I know what they look like.

Green is the new Red. Keeping names, removing people from their homes, taking their wealth.

Have we learned nothing? Why not start up the ovens while you're at it?
