California Solaren to launch 400 Megawatt space based solar power system to produce 200 MW of electricity. That is 200 MW of power dispersed in the local atmosphere. What is the weather change thresholds that might be tipped from this additional energy?

Adding 12,000 Gwatts to the atmosphere is relatively small, but the concern is how the environmental tipping points are affected (lynch pins).

The plan is to eventually produce in excess of 12,000 Gigawatts of power globally.

Thumb rules:
1kW/sq meter land gets heat from Sun
7kW/sq meter in space
beams confined to about 1 square kilometer
transfer efficiencies 50%, which means 50% goes into the atmosphere
