Roger Pielke Jr.'s Blog: The NYT Puts the Hit On
[Pielke Jr. comment] Since when is it appropriate for a major newspaper to attack an individual scientist? Where is the news here?
Can you give me another example of a major newspaper doing anything similar?
Sure, you expect this sort of thing from Climate Progress or Real Climate, but seriously, the NYT?
Vigil ‘connects the dots’ on climate change
The vigil will be held in the church’s sanctuary, with children walking in with pieces of Earth, such as rocks, fire and water, Lisa Hixon, of Edwards Congregational, said.
Six people will read reflections on what climate change is doing to Midwestern towns with floods and tornadoes, and what it is doing to global neighbors around the world, to future generations, and our blessed planet, Hixon said.
Participants will rededicate themselves to being healers of Earth and doing what they can to speak out against the use of fossil fuel, which is increasing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, she said.
Participants will sit in a circle around a round table with lighted candles spelling out the word “Hope.”

“As a conservative voter in Iowa, I am calling upon all parties to unite by ‘connecting the dots’ between climate change and the real life events that are and have been occurring in our state,” said Bill Ferrel of Coralville. “These events are creating historical damages that are costing our citizens billions in state and federal tax dollars as well as the untold trauma that comes with being in the path of disasters.”
SMH promises an end to an old trick of the warmists | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog

Several times in past months the Herald has used photographs of steam rising from power station chimneys with captions or subheads intimating that the steam was a polluting pall.

In February, alarmists got hysterical over $200,000 which they thought the Koch Brothers had given to Heartland. Apparently skeptics are getting 0.0002% of the climate money, which Hansen says gives us a big advantage.
