The new normal?: David "Climate Nuremberg" Roberts, evidently frustrated that sea levels are unlikely to rise much by 2100, now wants to talk about wild guesses for the year 2300

Rising sea levels: It’s worse than you think | Grist

In its most recent report, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) made projections of sea-level rise based solely on the thermal expansion of the oceans. (As water warms, it expands.) That got them up to around a meter (3.3 feet) by 2300, which is not nothing, but not apocalypse either...So, if we f*ck around and allow temperature to rise 4.5 degrees C, by 2300 sea levels could be up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) higher
