UK spot gas extends weather-driven gains | Energy & Oil | Reuters
LONDON, June 7 (Reuters) - British prompt gas prices rose on Thursday morning, due to an undersupplied network as higher
heating demand driven by unseasonably cold temperatures, elevated exports and storage refills tightened the fundamental outlook.

I can't figure out a comparison between UK pence per therm and US $US/mcf.
Obviously simple, but so am I when it comes to the conversion.
At a cost of $4 - $8/mcf for shale-gas in NAmerica, what would that mean for minimum prices for the consumer in the UK, I wonder?
Therm = 0.1 mcf
Therm = 1 Ccf
1 pence = 1.5556 cents
therm price times 15.56 = US equivalent price
56.7 x 15.56 = $8.82mcf
