An Example Of Media Hype By John Vidal In The Guardian | Climate Science: Roger Pielke Sr.

This is a good example of the type of reporting that my son talked about in his post

A Handy Bullshit Button on Disasters and Climate Change

Warmist blames carbon dioxide for "lightening" [sic] strikes - NextGen Journal

Even in rural Maine, climate change has wrecked havoc on my life. Yesterday marked three years since my home was struck by lightning and burned to the ground. June and July 2009 were some of the wettest months in Maine’s history. On the night my home burned down, there were 217 lightening strikes in my area. The average storm produces just 100. The acceleration of extreme weather events in our corner of bucolic Maine produced a massive lightening storm that destroyed my life as I knew it.

...If our leadership does not take serious action on climate change in the next four years, today’s extreme weather will look like a a garden party...Chloe Maxmin, a freshwoman at Harvard College, is the founder of the Climate Action Club (CAC) (http://laclimateaction.webs.com) and president of First Here, Then Everywhere (www.firstheretheneverywhere.org). She views her life’s mission as making the climate crisis the defining issue of her generation.
