#NARRATIVEFAIL: Tree-rings prove climate was WARMER in Roman and Medieval times than it is now – and world has been cooling for 2,000 years.
Here’s the article from Nature Climate Change, which says that variations in the Earth’s orbit have 4 times more impact on climate than anthropogenic warming.
It’s looking more and more like Fallen Angels all the time.

So now trees are thermometers?
This reminds me of the Robert's decision on nationalized medicine.
Stupid. Myopic.
Trees maintain their own internal temperature to facilitate photosynthesis. If it gets too cold trees die. That means there is an inherent warm bias in tree cores.
So when I see Jan Esper conjuring a wiggle from the raggedy edge, that just happens to mend the tattered reputation of the dendroclimaclergy, picked up by Instapundit, and Noel Sheppard, waving it about as if it meant something, when what I see are political arguments about whether it's a penalty or a tax, I get a little nervous.
Don't fall for it fellas. The argument is as it ever was, do we want unlimited centralized government, no matter what pretext it is coated in?
Stick to that one.
