Leigh Steinberg is widely believed to be the inspiration behind the Tom Cruise character "Jerry McGuire.'' The movie about a sports super agent spawned Cuba Gooding's iconic proclamation: "Show me the money.''
Over 30 years, Steinberg reportedly earned more than $100 million through his representation of 150 athletes — including former pro football players Troy Aikman, Steve Young and Warren Moon.
Today, Steinberg is broke.
He filed for bankruptcy this month.
