All of the inchoate rage we feel about climate change. All of the guilt; the feeling like somebody, somewhere ought to do something; the helplessness we feel in the face of the enormity of the problem - suddenly, all this is given a focus.

But the world needs to address climate change long before those CO2 chickens come home to roost.
