Obama campaign: Climate’s important, but focus is on ‘jobs and the economy’

An Obama campaign official was asked on a conference call with reporters this afternoon why President Barack Obama doesn’t mention climate change on the campaign trail, despite promising to make it a major issue in an April Rolling Stone interview. “Clearly, this is something that’s important to the administration,” Obama campaign spokesman Tom Reynolds said. “But right now, we're obviously going to be focusing on jobs and the economy.”
