Yellowstone hosts teacher workshop

Yellowstone is one of eight parks participating in the 2012 Parks Climate Change Challenge program, which is funded by the National Park Foundation.

The workshop will be led by National Park Service staff, with assistance from staff from Montana State University and the Yellowstone Association.

The Parks Climate Challenge program is designed to give teachers the tools to develop lesson plans, create hands-on service projects, and design field trips for students to help them better understand climate change and develop a stronger connection to the national parks.
