The author of the famous “hockey stick” climate chart, Mann outlines in his new book, The Hockey Stick and the Climate Wars, efforts by a shadowy network with links to petrochemical and conservative groups to harass him over the last decade.

That army of ghosts shows up at the Amazon link above. Of the 177 customer reviews, there were 35 that rank him with the lowest possible score of one out of five stars.

Most of the attackers appear to issue book reviews only on climate science, always attacking the scientific consensus and defending those who brand it as a massive scientific conspiracy. Some had never filed any previous reviews.
