But despite Solyndra and other spectacular debacles, you can bet that another Obama and Democrat Senate race win would continue to throw lots more taxpayer green at costly wind and solar projects. Never mind that combined, they currently produce only about 2.3% of all U.S. electricity (2.3% wind and 0.01% solar), with little real potential to make much of a future overall contribution either. Both industries will soon die if taken off subsidy-infused feeding tubes.
