THE HOCKEY SCHTICK: New paper shows no "hot spot" as predicted by climate models, invalidates AGW
A paper published today in Geophysical Research Letters shows the mythical "hot spot" in the upper troposphere predicted by climate models is indeed still missing. The paper shows little change in the upper tropospheric temperature measured by radiosondes and satellites from 1979-2011, while climate models instead predicted a significant increase over the same period. The paper confirms others showing that the so-called "fingerprint" of man-made global does not exist and therefore the computer models are based upon incorrect assumptions.

Interestingly, the “science” count in this [Christiana Figueres] paper is 0; however, the “mechanism” count is 7, “regime” count is 19 and “transform” (and variants thereof) is 9. So, while I’ve no idea what a “climate regime” might be, it seems that Figueres is certainly hooked on “transformation” – if not transubstantiation – of “regimes”.
Climate change "merciless" in Panama, and Central America
According to ANAM, citing a European study, climate change is considered the main cause of 14,000 extreme weather conditions, which caused more than 710,000 deaths around the world between 1991 and 2010.
